Good food bit pricey

I loved the kind service, the staff always has a smile on their face and the owners will check on their costumers to make sure everything is good and that their costumers are being taken care of! I Really like the convenience of this restaurant being just off of the highway it makes it really great when traveling through to head to Calgary or Vancouver. I loved the cleanliness of the restaurant, the tables weren't sticky, the washroom didn't smell, the floors were cleaned. And of course I loved the taste of their food! I've gone for their buffet, on my way through to and from Calgary, a few times and they are quick at making sure there was always food. The buffet food was always fresh!

The servers are ever so friendly and quick service. Food is absolutely amazing here. The husband and I recommend the lovers platter for couples.

Was not the best Chinese food here in Salmon Arm Thought I'd give it a try and 90 later I got canned mushrooms in my Chow Mein and a watered down wonton and spring rolls with one or two corn sweet and sour pork very fatty and gingergbeef was very soggy! 7 / items and it didn't even feed 4 people! For 90 it should have been bang on delsious not white man Chinese food! Will not order from here again!

We enjoy going to Yan's as they have the best war wonton soup in town. Fast service and decent prices.

Great food, great service and great value. The best place for Chinese food without a doubt. Yan's is at the top of our family's list when we go out for something to eat.

This was far the best buffet I have had in years! Have eaten here many times and found the food really good....but tonight was exceptional!!! Wondering if they have new cooks....will be going back soon!

Next to Highway 1, on frontage road. Close to motels. Open 7 days a week. Dine in & Take out. Good menu food. Smorgasbord on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Free parking. Some good views.

We always enjoy the food here, whether it’s the buffet smorg or from the menu, it’s always fresh, full of very tasty flavor, and plentiful. Good prices, nice ambiance, always clean and welcoming. They do get bus loads (which sometimes makes the servers a bit testy, lol) but all in all they handle the busyness very well. You really shouldn’t be disappointed if you decide to dine here.

Pre ordered from Yans cause I was ordering a ton of food. I said I wanted it a 6pm. Waitress was good very good at taking the order. But at pick up time, food was not ready. In fact it took another half hour to get. They never acknowledged my husband for about ten minutes. They were rude to him. My husband said their customer service was horrible. We have been going to Yans for many years and have never been treated this way. Will not be back.

Cozy and warm decor, super friendly and accommodating staffs. I came in an hour before closing for the buffet and they still refilled the food for me and my partner. Love then egg fu yung, dumplings, ginger beef and hot and spicy prawns, really recommend those! They really nailed the flavors. Would definitely come here if I stop by salmon arm again.

Well run, family managed, staff is a hive of good team workers. Fast efficient machine, excellent food. Price reasonable. Do big numbers incl entire bus tours.

I think it's the best Chinese food in Salmon Arm. They have ginger fried shredded beef or chicken too. I only say that as I've seen some Chinese places that dont cook that. Nice restaurant ambiance overall too. Good location just off highway with good access routes.

Excellent friendly service. 5 of us arrived close to closing time and decided to have the buffet. The staff and owners made sure we knew that anything in the buffet we wanted that was low they would fill for us. One of our party has a gluten allergy and the staff was fantastic at taking care of that, finding appropriate menu items and making sure she could eat something gluten-free.
